Nov. 17 & Nov. 18
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. both days — River Ridge Ranch, Springville, CA
Wow! Our first day of the Festival was fantastic. Warm, fall beauty, no rain (cloudy and breezy, but just right). We listened to poetry and prose sitting around the fire pit, walked trails, planted some Cleveland Sage, and many container plants left the ranch for new homes! There are still some great plants left, including Sages and Ceanothus.
Today – day two- looks to be another fabulous Festival. Here’s the schedule:
Sunday
10 a.m. – gates open
10-4: plant sale
11-12: Literary Performance
Catherine Hodges, poet
Peyton Ellas, poetry w/ Rob Hodges, music.
open mic
Chapbook, books and art for sale
1-2: Ranch tour
2-3: Irrigation Demo
3-4 Happy Hour, whatever that means to you (within some boundaries).
BYO lunch, etc. Complimentary coffee, tea, hot cocoa and snacks both days.
Kid’s Craft: Make a Leaf Mobile! All materials supplied (including the leaves…).
Rain or Shine – (although today looks bright and blue-sky while I’m writing this at 7). The ranch is beautiful, and the river runs through it. So
come on out!
